New connections and replacement pipework

I install, alter and replace gas pipework for planned work in homes across Noord-Holland. That can mean a new run to a boiler, adapting the supply for a kitchen layout or replacing an existing section.

The pipe needs to suit the appliance and the full route. I check the installation before choosing the materials and sizing, rather than pricing it from the distance alone.

Planning a new kitchen?

Send the kitchen plan, the appliance details and photos of the current connection. Let me know when the units and worktop are being fitted, so the pipework can be planned in the right order.

If you are changing to induction and an old gas connection needs taking out of use, I can discuss the internal pipework. Meter and network work needs to be arranged with your network operator.

What does it cost?

The first hour is €135 incl. BTW including call-out, then €95 incl. BTW per hour, plus materials. The route, access and work needed to test and finish the installation all affect the time.

I’ll explain the expected work and cost before booking. If the gas alterations form part of a boiler replacement, they can be included in that installation quote.

What happens during the job?

We’ll agree which connections are changing and what access is needed. The work includes the checks needed for the pipework involved, and I’ll explain what has been altered when it is handed over.

For gas boiler work, the appliance, combustion air and flue also bring specific certification requirements. The CO certification guide explains what to check when booking an installer.

What should I send you?

  • Your postcode and a short description of the job.
  • Photos of the existing connection and visible pipe route.
  • The make and model of the appliance being connected.
  • A plan or photo showing the proposed position.

Message me on WhatsApp and I’ll tell you what else I need to assess it.

Smell gas now?

This is for planned work. Leave the property and call 0800 9009 from outside if you smell gas. Avoid flames and electrical switches. Follow the national gas emergency guidance and don’t wait for a WhatsApp reply.
