How my prices work
Prices shown include BTW (21%). The written quote and invoice show the BTW amount separately.
- One fixed price, agreed before any work starts. Normal overruns are my risk. Extra work only comes up for a problem nobody could see beforehand, and I agree it with you first.
- No call-out charge (voorrijkosten), anywhere I work.
- Small parts are included in the fixed prices for repairs and small jobs.
- No maintenance contract needed, and I speak English as well as Dutch.
- Paid parking, in Amsterdam for example, is passed on at cost. It is not a call-out charge.

New boiler installation
A standard replacement is a fixed price for the boiler, the labour, small installation materials and removing the old boiler. A standard replacement means the new boiler goes in the same spot on the existing flue, with a new connection kit, a new expansion vessel and up to 1 m of pipework, done in one day. Work on the flue (rookgasafvoer) has no fixed price: I assess it per job and agree it with you before I start.

Evenings, weekends and extra work
I work by appointment, 08:00-16:00, seven days a week. In the evening and on Saturdays labour costs +50%; at night, on Sundays and on public holidays +100%. The surcharge is on labour only, never on parts.
Agreed extra work, and work for companies, is €114.95 incl. BTW per hour: minimum one hour, then per half hour. Landlords and managing agents with several boilers have their own rate on the landlords page.
What will my quote include?
Your quote sets out the work, the equipment and materials, and the total including BTW. Options such as a different thermostat or filter are identified so you can decide what to add.
For a larger job, access and making good need to be clear too. If scaffolding, plastering or other work is needed, we'll establish what is included and what needs arranging separately.
What if something changes?
The price we agreed stands, even if the job takes me longer. If I find a problem nobody could have seen beforehand, I stop, explain it and agree the extra work and its cost with you before I go on. If you want to change the plan, we agree that in the same way.
