What I receive
- When you ask for a quote: what you send me on WhatsApp or by email, usually your name, phone number or email address, your postcode, photos of the job and a description.
- When I do the work: the address of the job, what was done and the details needed for the invoice and payment.
I only ask for what I need to answer your question and do the job. Please don't send documents I haven't asked for, such as a copy of your ID.
What I use it for
To reply to you, prepare a quote, plan and carry out the work, send the invoice, and deal with any guarantee questions afterwards. I also keep the records the law requires for bookkeeping. I don't use your details for advertising and I don't sell or share them for marketing.
How long I keep it
Invoices and the records behind them are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Messages and photos about a quote that does not go ahead are removed when they are no longer needed, and at the latest after two years.
Who else handles it
Messages pass through WhatsApp (Meta) or my email provider, under their own privacy terms. My accountant and the Belastingdienst see invoice records. The website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site running and secure.
This website
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics and measures loading speed with Vercel Speed Insights. Neither uses cookies or follows you to other websites; a visit is recognised by an anonymous code that changes every day, so I see totals such as page views, countries and devices, not who you are.
If you choose a language with the flags in the header, that choice is stored in your own browser so the site opens in the same language next time. It never leaves your device.

The reviews shown on this site are copied from my Werkspot profile, with the reviewer's first name and initial. If one of them is yours and you would like it removed from this site, send me a message.
Your rights
You can ask me which details I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete them, or to stop using them, unless I have to keep them by law. Send a message and I'll reply within a month. If you are not happy with how I handle your details, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
