What does a one-off service cost?
A boiler service with me is €145 incl. BTW plus materials. You book the visit when maintenance is due, without signing up to a subscription.
The appropriate interval depends on the boiler’s instructions, condition and warranty terms. It should be chosen for the appliance. Milieu Centraal explains the role of regular maintenance and certified servicing.
What should I check in a contract?

Read the current provider’s terms. Package names and headline prices alone won’t tell you the whole cost.
Compare the same period
Multiply the monthly payment by twelve for the yearly cost. If servicing is every two years, look at twenty-four months and compare that with maintenance at the correct interval for your boiler.
Use prices on the same VAT basis and include any inspection fees, parts and excess charges. If a contract includes breakdown cover, allow for the value of that cover too. A maintenance-only visit does not replace it.
When might a contract suit you?
A contract may suit you if you value a defined breakdown service, want to spread the cost or prefer the provider to manage the maintenance schedule. Check what response is actually promised and which faults and parts are covered.
A one-off service may suit you if you prefer to arrange maintenance directly and pay separately for repairs when needed. There isn’t one right answer for every home.
What do I offer?
I provide planned boiler servicing and can assess faults and quote for repairs. Repair work starts at €135 incl. BTW for the first hour including call-out, followed by €95 incl. BTW per hour, plus materials.
Visits are booked by appointment. I don’t offer a 24-hour emergency response. If guaranteed out-of-hours cover matters to you, check that the contract you are considering specifically provides it.
Before changing your arrangement
Check whether your landlord, managing agent or an existing plan already covers the service. If you are leaving a contract, confirm its end date and cancellation terms so you know when responsibility changes.
