A standard replacement means the new boiler goes in the same spot on the existing flue, with a new connection kit, a new expansion vessel and up to 1 m of pipework, done in one day. Work on the flue (rookgasafvoer) has no fixed price: I assess it per job and agree it with you before I start. | Installation | Price | What to consider | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | CW4 ketel, standard replacement Intergas HRE 28/24 CW4 or Remeha Avanta Ace 28c | **€2,095 incl. BTW** guide price | Installation of your boiler, with suitability checked first | | Relocation or complex install | **€2,750-€4,500+ incl. BTW** guide price | Quoted per job: a new boiler position or a more involved change to the system | CW4 and CW5 refer to hot-water performance. Tell me about your shower, bath and how you use hot water, and I'll help you choose a suitable model. A relocation or a more involved installation (€2,750-€4,500+ incl. BTW as a guide) gets its own fixed quote after I've seen it. You can read more about the work on the [boiler installation page](https://www.englishplumber.nl/services/boiler-installation/). ## Evenings, weekends and extra work I work by appointment, 08:00-16:00, seven days a week. In the evening and on Saturdays labour costs +50%; at night, on Sundays and on public holidays +100%. The surcharge is on labour only, never on parts. Agreed extra work, and work for companies, is €114.95 incl. BTW per hour: minimum one hour, then per half hour. Landlords and managing agents with several boilers have their own rate on the [landlords page](https://www.englishplumber.nl/landlords/). ## What will my quote include? Your quote sets out the work, the equipment and materials, and the total including BTW. Options such as a different thermostat or filter are identified so you can decide what to add. For a larger job, access and making good need to be clear too. If scaffolding, plastering or other work is needed, we'll establish what is included and what needs arranging separately. ## What if something changes? The price we agreed stands, even if the job takes me longer. If I find a problem nobody could have seen beforehand, I stop, explain it and agree the extra work and its cost with you before I go on. If you want to change the plan, we agree that in the same way. Comparing quotes? [How to read and compare boiler quotes](https://www.englishplumber.nl/guides/reading-a-dutch-quote/) helps you check the scope, price and conditions side by side. ## Get a price for your job [**Send Jordan photos on WhatsApp**](https://wa.me/31642869931?text=Hi%20Jordan%2C%20I%27d%20like%20a%20quote.%20Here%27s%20a%20photo%20of%20the%20job%3A), with your postcode and a short description. I'll ask for anything else I need and arrange a visit where necessary. Quotes are free and without obligation. You get one fixed price before I start; a fault visit is €135 incl. BTW, small parts included. What if the job takes longer than I planned? That is my risk, not yours. The fixed price stands. Extra work only comes up for a problem nobody could see beforehand, and I agree it with you before I do it. How much is a new boiler? A standard replacement is a fixed price: €2,095 incl. BTW for a CW4 (Intergas HRE 28/24 CW4 or Remeha Avanta Ace 28c), €2,195 incl. BTW for a CW5 (Intergas HRE 36/30 CW5) and €2,445 incl. BTW for the Intergas Xtreme 36. Work on the flue is assessed per job. Fitting a boiler you supply is €850-€1,450 incl. BTW, and a relocation or complex install is quoted per job. How do I choose CW4 or CW5? The hot-water demand matters, particularly the shower and bath you use. I can help you compare suitable models for your home. Do these prices include BTW? Prices shown include BTW (21%). The written quote and invoice show the BTW amount separately. Do you work evenings and weekends? Yes, at a surcharge on labour only, never on parts: +50% in the evening and on Saturdays, +100% at night, on Sundays and on public holidays. My normal hours are 08:00-16:00, seven days a week. Do I need a maintenance contract? No. You can book a one-off boiler service at €145 incl. BTW plus materials. Maintenance plans are available on request — ask me. What do you charge by the hour? €114.95 incl. BTW per hour, minimum one hour, then per half hour. I use it for extra work we have agreed and for work for companies; everything else has a fixed price.
