Open it up. The case comes off first. 2. Then the front plate, with the gas valve and fan still attached. 3. The heat exchanger is cleaned fin by fin, top to bottom, including the underside, where most of the dirt collects. 4. The burner is checked and left alone. Intergas says it must not be cleaned. 5. New gaskets, every time. A hardened seal can let flue gases escape. 6. I work by appointment, 08:00-16:00, seven days a week. Evenings and Saturdays are +50% on labour, nights, Sundays and public holidays +100%; never on parts.
